Production space comes to Stanwood with this new state-of-the-art facility

Safety + security + space in one flexible location!

Finding the right storage facility to store your merchandise can be easier said than done.

How often do you come across a turnkey, leasable food processing plant? Especially one that’s directly attached to temperature-controlled storage spaces and loading docks.

While the answer may seem like “never,” it’s now possible with Bellingham Cold Storage’s new Stanwood facility. And with five years since the company’s last vacancy, you better act fast!

Bellingham Cold Storage has been providing frozen cold storage to various food companies and industries since 1946. With three full-service campuses between Seattle and Vancouver, Canada, they manage 19 warehouses, 12 leased food production facilities, and their own private ocean terminal storing hundreds of millions of pounds of refrigerated and frozen products – from small local producers to multinational food manufacturers.

Warehouses are all fully managed and monitored by a Logix refrigeration control system and a team of engineers, bringing you 24/7 security – additional security and site monitoring is also included. Inventory remains under the control of their real-time, state-of-the-art warehouse management system, WebOPTICS, which is fully equipped with customizable programming capabilities.

The Stanwood Facility:

The Stanwood facility operates as their third campus, closer to Seattle. Like Bellingham, BCS is managing the warehousing at BCS Stanwood, and will lease out the food processing areas.

The food complex that the facility has created affords clients the convenience of bringing merchandise from the warehouse, directly to the processing facility, right back to the warehouse – streamlining production services.

This approach expedites the process, allowing clients to produce almost on-demand, increasing cost-effectiveness and time efficiency. Not only that, you can feel good knowing you’re on the right track to sustainability by preventing unnecessary pollution associated with transportation.

Built for food processing, drains and sealed floors make the BCS Stanwood complex turnkey!

The wide range of potential storage options include:

  • Food (seafood, fruit, meat, dairy and cheese)
  • Manufactured foods
  • Beverages
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Industrial materials
  • Supplements
  • Cosmetics
  • Packaging
  • Supplies
  • Equipment
  • Industrial Materials

While the BCS model has worked for 75 years, they’re excited to expand to Stanwood – bringing endless storage opportunities to you!
