TONIGHT: Renton History Museum hosting discussion of Seattle Sculptor James Wehn

Wehn is recognized for creating over two hundred public sculptures, memorials, plaques and statues, including the Chief Seattle fountain statue in 1912.

The King County Library System and the Renton History Museum present author and art historian Fred Poyner IV as he discusses his recent biography about the life and art of Seattle sculptor James A. Wehn.

The event is 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., March 5, at the Renton History Museum, 235 Mill Ave S, Renton. The entire community is invited.

Often called “the First Sculptor of Seattle,” Wehn is recognized for creating over two hundred public sculptures, memorials, plaques and statues, including the Chief Seattle fountain statue in 1912.
