The Landing still on for the holidays with drive-thru light show

Cars waited patiently Saturday Nov. 21 to cruise through gingerbread men, nutcrackers, and holiday lasers.

Unlike The Landing’s traditional tree lighting and laser show event, the shopping complex offered a Drive-Thru Holiday Spectacular, Saturday, Nov. 21.

The event allowed families to come together in their vehicle and cruise by an assortment of holiday figures, laser lights, bubbles, smoke and merry music, all concluding with a wave from Santa wearing a face covering.

It was a holiday event unlike anything before, with the precautions and changes in order to have proper distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The drive-thru event still included the annual tree, which is lit and decorated across from the Regal Cinema building.
