The Renton Community Foundation awarded more than $76,000 in scholarships to 24 students on June 1.

The scholarships went to students graduating from high school, undergraduate students, graduate students and those attending vocational school.

“This is not only the largest contingent of scholars we’ve had, but the event was standing-room- only,” said Lynn Bohart, foundation executive director, in a release. “We’re very proud to be helping these young people as they chart a course for their future.”
