Scalawaggles Pet Rescue is hosting a pet adoption event on Sept. 8 and 9.

The event will help make room for incoming dogs from Texas.

Puppies are $450 and adults are $400. This includes spay/neuter, shots and microchips.

The event will run both days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. behind Garland Jewelers in the gravel lot at 814 S Third St.
