Free tax help until April 19

The United Way of King County is hosting a free tax preparation campaign at Renton Salvation Army and the Fairwood Library.

The United Way of King County is hosting a free tax preparation campaign.

The campaign is offered online, www.MyFreeTaxes.com, or at 30 locations throughout the county from now until April 19.

Households making less than $66,000 can have their taxes prepared by a certified tax preparer. They can also get connected with other community resources and public benefits, a release stated.

Locations in Renton hosting the campaign are:

• Salvation Army Renton Rotary, 206 S. Tobin St. from 5 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays

• Fairwood Library, 17009 140th Ave. SE from 5 to 8 p.m. Mondays, noon to 3 p.m. Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays
