St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in the Renton Highlands, along with its talented musical groups, is presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock-opera “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

The musical, an interpretation of the gospel accounts of the last weeks of the life of Jesus, has been a popular production since its inception on Broadway in 1971.

The shows are March 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24. All the shows are at 7 p.m. The stars are local talent Jess Hamilton, Charles Mack, Meredith Hatcher, Wuesly Esparza and Greg McDole. Admission is pay as you wish. Refreshments will be offered with a donation.
