Christmas entertainment calendar: Yule have fun until Christmas

  • SANTA IS AT THE PIAZZA FRIDAY, SATURDAY

    Santa continues to wait for good boys and girls of all ages, young and old in the Santa House in downtown Renton now through Christmas, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Fridays, and 1 p.m.-4 p.m., Saturdays. He arrived by means of a big fire truck on Dec. 3 and the lights on the tree were lit in the Piazza. Visitors can bring their own cameras, but there will be someone there taking photos and free downloadable photos will be available of your experience.   • IVAR’S CLAM LIGHTS RUN THROUGH JAN. 1

    Enjoy the wonder and splendor of Ivar’s Clam Lights which are turned on nightly at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park on Lake Washington. The lights are on display 5 p.m.-9 p.m. nightly through Jan. 1.

  • BALLET PRESENTING ‘THE NUTCRACKER’

    This is Evergreen City Ballet’s final weekend performances of “The Nutcracker.” It will show at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 17 at the IKEA Performing Arts Center at 400 South Second Street in Renton. The ballet also shows at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, all performances are at the IKEA Performing Arts Center.

  • ERWILLIAN CHRISTMAS CONCERT

    The Erwillian Christmas Concert is 2 p.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at the Fairwood Library, 17009 140th Ave S.E. The quintet will perform medieval and Beatles music at the free concert.
