The new WildFin American Grill officially opened its doors at The Landing March 27 and raised more than $4,000 for the Renton Education Foundation in the process.
“We strive to be the favorite suburban restaurant where you can come as you are, relax and enjoy a great meal in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere,” says WildFin President Attila Szabo. “With this philosophy, WildFin is an ideal complement to the unique neighborhood atmosphere of Renton Landing, an oasis for shoppers, nearby workers, and surrounding residents to unwind with friends and family.”
The “first night” charity event this week raised $4,100 for the Renton Schools Foundation,an organization that helps bridge the funding gap in Renton schools.
“We believe being a neighborhood restaurant means being a part of the community from the start.” Szabo says. “In addition to the opportunity to assist the Renton Schools Foundation, WildFin is actively involved and we strive to show our support daily. For instance, we highlight important community happenings on our website and menus, and our crewmembers participate in local events and charities.”
WildFin’s menu revolves around local seafood, produce and products abundant in the Pacific Northwest. WildFin’s flavors are simple and honest, offered through a large selection of dishes from the sea, field and farm, including Crab & Shrimp Cakes, WildFin Grilled Ribeye, New Orleans Fettuccine and Pan Roasted Chicken.
WildFin’s seasonally relevant menu includes a range of familiar and flavorful dishes, including a large assortment of specially highlighted lower-calorie choices and a vast selection of Gluten-free items. For younger diners, WildFin takes the “children’s menu” concept a step further, offering smaller portions of main menu items for children, allowing them to enjoy a grown up meal made just their size.
Partnerships with community drive the WildFin menu philosophy. Szabo and his team work closely with many Northwest companies to bring the freshest food to the table, including contracting with an Alaska fishery to hand select the best seafood specifically for the restaurant.
Reminiscent of a comfortable Northwest home, WildFin’s decor invites guests to relax, release the day’s tension and enjoy a carefully prepared meal at a great value. High ceilings, an open kitchen, and wood, stone and iron accents provide a welcoming atmosphere.
WildFin American Grill is open seven days a week. The dining room is open Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering lunch and dinner service. Brunch is served on the weekends in addition to dinner. Weekend hours are Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Grill’s full bar is open seven days and closes one hour after the dining room each evening.
WildFin’s flagship restaurant in Issaquah opened in 2011. Szabo plans to continue expanding the restaurant throughout the Pacific Northwest in future years.
