Season ends for Lindbergh soccer, Liberty baseball | Post Season Play

Losses in the Elite 8 ended the season for the Lindbergh soccer team and for Liberty baseball.


The first place Eagles finished the West Central District 3 2A tournament with a perfect 2-0 record.

After beating Cheney 3-1 May 16 to secure its spot in the Elite 8, the Eagles fell to Cedarcrest 1-0.

The Eagles finish the 2017 season with a 17-2-2 record.


After going 4-0 and winning the District 1/2 2A tournament, the Patriots headed to the regional round of the state tournament.

The Patriots beat Port Angeles 2-1 to punch its ticket to the next round, the Elite 8.

Liberty was shut out 4-0 against Anacortes to end the Patriots season.

Liberty finishes the 2017 season with a 11-13 overall record.
