Lindbergh High School’s Paige Shaffer, girls wrestling, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 28.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: AP Psychology

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Music, band

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My father

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Pre-match I visualize going through moves/something I want to try.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “I’ll always remember us this way”

                                Football season is back. In a cross-town rivalry game, the Lindbergh Eagles and Hazen Highlanders went head-to-head Friday, Sept. 6 at Renton Memorial Stadium. Away-team Highlanders held the win, 36-14.
