Renton High School’s Mausali Del Fierro, tennis, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 5.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Playing guitar and swim

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My friend Kevin, he keeps me motivated

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Try to get motivated and stay positive

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “TRNDSTTR” by Black Coast

“Mausali has stepped up huge for tennis in an otherwise difficult situation. He is already recognized not only as a team leader but also as a mentor, despite only being a sophomore. He has kept a positive attitude, shows up ready to go and is a great student-athlete!”
