Hazen High School’s Josh Kittay, tennis, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Oct. 12.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Language Arts

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: I enjoy playing tennis and baseball.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Aiden White helped screw my head on straight.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Post game, I turn up the music in my car and get food with the team.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Walk on Water” by Thirty Seconds to Mars

“Josh is a senior at Hazen and has gone undefeated this year in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles with a 12-0 record. He is upbeat and hard working and has been a positive influence on the team in general.”
