Patriots win five in a row

The Liberty boys basketball team hosted Lake Washington Tuesday.

The Patriots won 55-45. The win was its fifth in a row.

Liberty is undefeated and leading the league in the KingCo 2A/3A.

The Patriots started the season with two non-league losses in a row before going on the win streak.

Liberty was scheduled to compete at the Capital City Classic in Salem, Oregon Dec. 19 to 22.

The boys will return home and travel to Hazen for a 7 p.m. tip off Friday, Dec. 28.

Girls Basketball

The Patriots ended its two game losing streak by beating Sammamish Friday 51-31.

The girls are currently in fourth place in the KingCo 2A/3A with a 2-2 league record and 2-5 overall.

Liberty hosted Lake Washington Wednesday, beating the Kangs 51-38.

Next the Patriots will host a 7:15 p.m. tip off today, Friday, Dec. 21 when Bellevue comes to town.
