Lindbergh swim and dive impress at championship

The team took second and are headed to the state championship meet

The Lindbergh High School Girls Swim Team competed in the West Central District III championship swim/dive meet on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The team scored 233 points and placed second. Top 12 finishers, which scored points for Lindbergh’s team were:

•Rachel Knittle, Izzy Goe, Caelee Truong, Madison Martz in the 200 medley relay.

•Makenna Jones and Sierra Scott in the 200 freestyle.

•Caelee Truong, Parsin, Lwai, Emma Anderson and An Pham in the 200 IM.

•Djenica Ortiz in the 50 free.

•Terra Korve in one meter diving.

•Rachel Knittle, Izzy Goe, Djenica Ortiz, and An Pham in the 100 butterfly.

•Caelee Truong and Madison Martz in the 100 freestyle.

•Makenna Jones, Emma Anderson and Kate Widmer in the 500 freestyle.

•Rachel Knittle, Izzy Goe, Djenica Ortiz, Makenna Jones in the 200 Free Relay.

•Parsin Lwai and Sierra Scott in the 100 backstroke.

•Rachel Knittle, Madison Martz, Izzy Goe and Minji Rauch in the 100 breaststroke.

•Makenna Jones, Sierra Scott, Madison Martz, Caelee Truong in the 400 free relay.

It was a great meet from your Lady Eagles. Up next is the state championship swim/dive next weekend, Nov. 16-17.
