Lindbergh sends school-record 11 to districts | Tennis

The Lindbergh tennis team won the Seamount championship and qualified 11 players for the district tournament, a school record. Freshman Alan Kwiatkowski won the boys singles title, while sophomore Joe Kwiatkowski took second for the Eagles. Lindbergh's team of Adrian Villanueva and Sam Bayna won the boys doubles title. Boris Oks and Bobby Huynh took second for the Eagles.

Freshman Alan Kwiatkowski won the boys singles title, while sophomore Joe Kwiatkowski took second for the Eagles. Lindbergh’s team of Adrian Villanueva and Sam Bayna won the boys doubles title. Boris Oks and Bobby Huynh took second for the Eagles.

Lindbergh’s Kelly Saivong and Jeannie Joy Walters won the girls doubles title. Dwina Solihin and Maria Phan finished third. Lindbergh’s Quinn Osborn took third in girls singles in a match that took three hours and spanned two days (3-6, 7-6, 6-3).

The West Central District 2A tennis tournament is May 12 and 19 at Sprinker Recreation Center in Tacoma.
