Highlanders won two in a row | Hazen Girls Tennis

The Hazen girls tennis team is currently in the No. 4 spot in the North Puget Sound League 4A Cascade division.

The girls have a 4-3 league and overall record.

The Highlanders are on a two match win streak and most recently beat Kent-Meridian 3-2 April 3.

• S2 Manisha Siwakoti KM d Vanessa Pacheco-Altig 7-5, 6-1

• D1 Trista Aoki/Marie Fenske H d Joelianne Jose/Aimee Phung 6-2, 7-5

• D2 Farheen Khalid/Maya Frame KM d Paige Tabert/Jayna Campbell 6-3, 6-2

• D3 Lillian Nguy/Ruthie Fenske H d Kim Ha/Jeanitta Kim 6-4, 2-6, 6-4

On April 2, the Highlanders also beat Mount Rainier. Hazen won the match 4-1.

The girls will travel to Maple Valley, weather permitting, for a 3:30 p.m. match Tuesday, April 10 against the Tahoma Bears.
