Fife takes out Lindbergh | Baseball

The Lindbergh baseball team lost to Fife 6-1 Wednesday in the West Central District 2A tournament. The Eagles (15-2) will play Franklin Pierce Saturday at 2 p.m. at Franklin Pierce High School in a loser-out game. Lindbergh can still make the state tournament with three straight wins.

Fife scored three runs in the top of the second and fourth innings. Lindbergh managed a run in the bottom of the fourth.

Tyler Gould had the Eagles’ only RBI on a double that knocked Ryan White home. Matt Stuart took the loss on the mound.
