Lindbergh boys and girls take Seamount League titles | Track & field

Lindbergh asserted itself and won both the girls and boys Seamount League titles May 14.

The Eagles boys team scored 138.33 points, edging Renton in second (130) and Hazen in third (124.33). The Lindbergh girls team scored 188 points to beat second-place Highline (132) easily. Hazen scored 79.5 for fourth and Renton finished fifth (78.5).

Hazen's Duncan Mackay finished second, while Lindbergh's Frank Cange placed third.

Watson won the event, while Renton's Galen Rock was second.

Hazen senior Tyler Blakley won the event, while Hazen's Clay Strom placed third.

Renton senior Joseph Powell tied with Lindbergh senior David Bowman for the win. Roseboro placed third.

Pole vault

Hazen junior Kyle Martin won, while Hazen's Sean Smallwood placed third.

Long jump

Renton's P.J. Benedictus placed second.

Triple jump

Benedictus placed third.

Hazen's Starr Williams finished second, while Hazen's Airashay Rogers was third.

Renton's Taylor Williams placed second, while Renton's Amadi Bentley was third.

Lindbergh's Elise Aylward finished second.

Lindbergh sophomore Sarah Reiter won, while fellow Lindbergh sophomore Anna Patti placed second.
