Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times refutes earlier rumors that the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears were interested in a trade involving Seahawks guard Rob Sims and Bears defensive end Alex Brown.
Despite a need for a pass rusher, the Seahawks do not want to pay Brown a $5 million salary in 2010.
Brown will turn 31 later this year and has 43.5 sacks in his eight seasons with the Bears. He totaled six sacks and 48 tackles last season.
