Bill Williamson, the AFC West blogger for ESPN.com, says Seattle's chances to acquire wide receiver Brandon Marshall from Denver Broncos may have dwindled when the Seahawks traded for quarterback Charlie Whitehurst.

Seattle swapped second-round picks with the Chargers as part of the deal for Whitehurst, moving the team from 40th overall to 60th overall. That gives the Seahawks much less to bargain with in a potential deal for Marshall.

Seattle could still push forward offering something like the 60th overall pick and a fourth-round selection (Seattle doesn't have a third-round pick) and hope Denver takes it closer to the draft, which is April 22.
