The season ends in heartbreaking fashion for the Renton girls basketball team. The Indians fell to Yelm 48-47 in a loser-out bi-district game Friday night at Mount Rainier High School.

Renton (13-8) trailed by one point after the first quarter but went on a 19-8 run in the second quarter, building a 10-point lead.

Yelm cut into that lead and finally took over in the fourth quarter.

Amanda Rogers led Renton with 15 points, Addyson Stowers scored 11, Kelsey Sparks 10 and Taylor Williams seven.
