Lindbergh plays Bainbridge at Renton Stadium Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Bainbridge

Intro: The Spartans have a 5-4 record and earned third in the Metro League Mountain division.

Best win: The Spartans swept past Rainier Beach 34-7 in a must-win game Oct. 31.

Worst loss: Bainbridge fell 17-14 to a struggling Bishop Blanchet team Oct. 24.

Trend: Even. The last two times Bainbridge played were the Bishop Blanchet and Rainier Beach games.

Extra point: The Spartans have outscored opponents 73-28 in the first quarter this season.

Bottom line: The offense runs through Alex Johnson. The senior has 170 carries for 858 yards and 10 touchdowns. Bainbridge's defense improved and allowed just 11 points per game in the past three. The most important showdown will be between the Bainbridge defense and Lindbergh's offense.
