Renton girls basketball take on Mark Morris tonight in state regional game

The Renton girls basketball team is looking for their second trip to Yakima in row tonight as they take on Mark Morris High School in a regional play-in game at Kent-Meridian High School.

The Indians come in as the No. 3 seed from District 3 after beating Port Angles 45-36 on Feb. 22 to advance to the regional play-in game.

Mark Morris is the No. 2 seed from District 4 after losing the District Tournament championship game to W.F. West by a score of 53-47.

The winner of tonight's game earns a spot in the state tournament, next weekend at the Yakima SunDome. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Kent-Meridian High School, 10020 S.E. 256th St., Kent.
