CORRECTED: Renton girls play tonight, boys play Saturday

The Renton basketball season is not over yet, but both the boys and girls teams head into this weekend's regional tournament with work to do.

The girls team, led by All-Seamount's Player of the Year Taylor Farris, opens play tonight against District 3 champion Sumner in a rematch of the sub-district tournament final, won by the Spartans in double overtime.

The game begins tonight at 8 p.m. at Kent Meridian.

The boys team, led by All-Seamount Player of the Year Jonathan Patterson, take on River Ridge High School, of Lacey, Wash., at 6 p.m. Saturday  at Tumwater High School.
