Renton basketball players take Seamount Player of the Year honors

Renton's Taylor Farris and Jonathan Patterson were named Seamount League girls basketball Player of the Year and boys basketball Player of the year, respectively, on Wednesday.
Renton boys coach Rick Comer was also named Coach of the Year.
Farris, a junior, was the top scorer on the league-champion Indians.
Patterson, a senior, averaged 13.7 points per game to lead the Indians during the seaosn.
Also receiving honors on the girls side were Renton's Jordan Armstrong, a senior, who was named to the All-League first team, as was Lindbergh's Alexandira Witherspoon, also a senior.
Hazen senior Cecilee Fernandez and Lindbergh freshman Aajua Brooks were named to the second team.
Renton's Justice Perry and Ashtine Stowers, Lindbergh's Christina Wiley and Hazen's Sablena Milinganyo and Cameron Devereaux received honorable mentions.
For the boys, Renton's Lavelle Smith, a senior and Lindbergh's Colin Malone were named to the All-League first team and Renton's Donovan Saario, a senior, received second-team honors.
In addition, Hazen's Emmanuel Oppong, Dominic Green and Brody Graybeal, Lindbergh's Chris Harraway and Nate Cunningham and Renton's Justin Pienh all received honorable mentions.
