Bremerton ends Linbergh's season | GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Lindbergh girls season came to an end Tuesday night with a 42-28 first-round loss to Bremerton in the district 2A tournament.

Bremerton jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, holding the Eagles to single digits in every quarter.

Lindbergh came out stronger after halftime, winning the third quarter 9-4, but Bremerton picked up the pace and put down the minor rally.

Alexandria Witherspoon scored a team-leading 10 points for Lindbergh, followed by Paige Alloway with eight.

Bremerton's Sawyer Kluge led all scorers with 16.

The first-round loss means Lindbergh's season comes to a close with a final record of 10-13.
