The Lindbergh boys basketball season came to an end this weekend as the Eagles dropped two games at the sub-district tournament, including a 67-62 overtime loss to Steilacoom that sealed their fate.

The Eagles' weekend began Friday with a 44-33 loss to Foster forcing a win-or-go-home match-up with Steilacoom Saturday evening.

Linbergh began the game with a strong first quarter, beating Steilacoom 21-14 in the first frame, but inconsistency plagued the Eagles as Steilacoom rallied back the second to take a 34-27 lead into halftime.

The third quarter remained tight, but Lindbergh needed a big fourth quarter to tie up the game at 53-53 at the end of regulation.

In the extra set, Steilacoom dropped 14 points to the Eagles' 9, sending Lindbergh home for the year.

Steilacoom's Terrance Holmes led all scorers with 22.

The loss drops Linbergh's season record to 11-12.
