The Lindbergh girls basketball team had no answer for the White River Thursday in the opening round of Postseason play, losing 60-29 to the Hornets.

White River outscored the Eagles 24-4 in the first quarter and 14-8 in the second to take a 38-12 lead into halftime.

White River's Kennedy Hobart led all scorers with 28 points, nearly sinking Lindbergh on her own.

Connie Tua led the way for the Eagles with eight points.

The loss means Lindbergh will play Foster today, Friday, at Clover Park. Foster lost their opening round game to Washington 42-30.

The winner of Friday night's game will move on to the district tournament as the No. 6 seed while the loser will move on as the No. 9 seed.

The Eagles will take the court at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday, at Clover Park High School.
