Undefeated Renton High boys beat Lindbergh | Basketball

The undefeated Renton High boys basketball team, ranked No. 2 in the state, continued to dominate the Seamount League Friday night with a 56-51 win over Lindbergh.

Lavelle Smith led the Indians in scoring with 13 points, followed by Jonathan Patterson and Justin Pienh with 11 points each.

The top scorer for Lindbergh was Colin Malone, with 17 points, followed by Devon Jackson with 7 points.

The Indians are 6-0 in Seamount play and 12-0 overall. Lindbergh sits fifth in the league, 2-3 in conference play and 4-7 overall.

Next up for Renton is last-place Tyee High School at 7 p.m. Wednesday and second-place Kennedy Catholic High School, 5-1 (7-2), at 7:45 p.m. Friday. Both games are being played at Renton High School.
