Hazen softball concludes regular season

The Hazen softball team finished the regular season on April 25 with a 9-1 loss at Mount Rainier.
The Highlaners (6-9 overall, 6-8 league) sit in fifth place in the Seamount. The team managed seven hits, but couldnt turn the hits and baserunners into runs.
The Rams (13-3, 12-2) did most of their damage early, with four runs in the first inning and three runs in the second. Hazen ended the shutout with a run in the fifth.
Kelly MacDonald pitched the complete game for Mount Rainier. MacDonald gave up seven hits and one walk while striking out six.
