Hazen girls academic state champs | Cross Country

The Hazen High School girls cross-country team is the Academic State Champion for Washington.

The Highlanders maintained a GPA of 3.958 for the fall season to win the award, which recognizes the team with the highest GPA among all 3A Washington high schools.

The team will receive the award this weekend in Pasco at the state cross-country meet.

Sophomore Kristin Ericksen led the team  by making the West Central District III 3A meet this season. She placed 50th with a time of 22 minutes, 20.4 seconds.
