Seamount, KingCo 3A/2A situations for next enrollment cycle

All four Renton high schools will remain in their current classifications for the 2012-2014 cycle.

Hazen has an enrollment of 1,179 (1,111 last cycle) and is the area's only natural 3A school. Liberty's enrollment is 870 (934), making it the smallest Renton school. But the Patriots are opting up to 3A as they did during the last cycle.

At 1,004 (798), Renton is the eighth biggest 2A school. Lindbergh comes in at 914 (987).

Highline (1,182/1,157 last cycle) - 3A

Kennedy Catholic (638/736) - opt up to 3A

Evergreen (814/895) - 2A

Tyee (650/777) - 2A

Foster (648/645) - 2A

All schools will stay in the same classification

The rest of the KingCo 3A/2A:

Mount Si (1,228/1,184) - 3A

Interlake (1,207/1,085) - 3A

Bellevue (1,136/1,125) - 3A

Mercer Island (1,114/1,058) - 3A

Juanita (1,096/1,088) - 3A

Lake Washington (1,064/1,159) - 2A

Sammamish (902/848) - 2A

Interlake moves up to 3A, while Lake Washington and Sammamish move down to 2A
