Lindbergh swim beats Highline; Hazen volleyball improves to 3-1; Lindbergh boys, Liberty girls impress at Ft. Steilacoom | Roundup

The Lindbergh swim team beat Highline 125-46 Thursday.

Jane Tibbitts, Erica Garl, Sarah Batschi, Kaitlin Zinsli, Jazzlyn Pena, Laura Patterson, Amanda Miller and Abby Chufar each won individual events.

The Eagles took first in every event.

 

Hazen continues strong start by beating Tyee

The Hazen volleyball team beat Tyee 3-1 Thursday.

The Highlanders are now 3-1 overall and against league opponents this season.

Zoey Feist had 11 kills and five aces, Annie Phan had four aces and eight digs. Kelsey Allen had four blocks.

Also on Thursday, Renton (1-3, 1-3) fell to Highline 3-1 and Lindbergh (0-4, 0-3) lost to Evergreen 3-1.

 

All four schools run at Fort Steilacoom Invitational

The Lindbergh boys and Liberty girls led the way as all four Renton schools ran at the Fort Steilacoom Invitational Saturday.

On the boys side, Renton finished ninth, Hazen 11th and Liberty 13th. For the girls, Lindbergh took seventh, Hazen 21st and Renton 30th.
