People who live by the Lindbergh swimming pool and many who either have themselves or know someone who has used the pool are working to save this enclosed pool, which is one of two pools owned by Renton School District and located at local high schools. This pool is used by many users and is the only public recreation area in the Benson Hill area of Renton.

The following will be happening to support saving the Lindbergh High school.

  • Car wash: 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, May 8, Auto Zone, 17625 140th Ave. S.E., Fairwood.
  • Community school district budget meeting: 7 p.m. May 10, Lindbergh High School, 16426 128th Ave. S.E.
  • “Laps for Lindbergh” (swim-a-thon): 9 a.m.-11 a.m. May 22 at the Fairwood pool (FWGCC).
