WILLIAM MICHAEL MAAS

June 3, 1939 ~ October 29, 2017

William “Bill” M. Maas passed away at the age of 78 on October 29, 2017 in Auburn, WA. He was born on June 3, 1939 in Coos Bay, Oregon to Victor, Sr. and Theresa Marie (Odisio) Maas.

Bill spent most of his life living in Renton and worked as an upholstery trimmer. He was very active and belonged to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Rogues Car Club, and the 21 Club.

Bill was an avid fisherman and a great sports enthusiast. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and Oakland Raiders, enjoyed professional sports competitions and amateur boxing and he loved running and bicycling. Bill always made sure to visit and spend time with friends and lifelong buddies; and he always liked calling to sing happy birthday to his family and friends.

Bill is survived by his son Brannan Maas (Rose), grandchildren Brooke Maas and Hunter Maas, brother Victor Maas, Jr. (Jackie), several nephews and other extended family members, as well as many friends and lifelong buddies. Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life, Elaine.
