THOMAS SCOT ABRAHAMSON

Thomas Scot Abrahamson passed away on October 17, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tom was born in Renton, Washington on November 12, 1958. He graduated from Renton’s Hazen High School in 1977 and worked several years in construction building custom homes and a duplex for his dad. He later enrolled in a Boeing Apprenticeship program at Renton Technical College and continued working at Boeing as a Machinist, Programmer, Union Rep, LEAN Lead, Quality Lead and briefly as a Manager until his early retirement in 2015.

His never ending passion to see and explore new places led he and his wife to sell everything and down size to a new truck and trailer to spend the next 3 years traveling all four corners of the US and in between. Looking for a warm place to settle down, they built and moved into their new home in Port Aransas, TX in the Spring of 2019. In late July, Tom was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Sharon Abrahamson; son, Taylor Abrahamson; parents, Norm and Carol Abrahamson; brother, Tim Abrahamson (Dawn); sister, Tami Dunlap (Brian); nieces, Candace, Emily, Lillie and Caroline. Tom will be remembered most for his generous, warm hearted nature, big smile and willingness to go out of his way to help anyone he met.
