Joseph (Joe) Day, 46, died December 31, 2017 in South Korea.

Joe was born, November 1, 1971, in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted by Clifford and Anna Day of New Holland, PA in 1979.

Joe was a gifted teacher, specializing in math where he taught for several years in Virginia and for 16 years in the School District of Renton, Washington. He especially enjoyed teaching children from different backgrounds and was named the district wide Teacher of the Year in 2016. Most recently he was teaching children English in South Korea.

Joe had been living in South Korea where he had the opportunity to connect with his birth family. In the USA, he leaves behind his parents Clifford and Anna Day, brother Peter Day, sisters Rebecca Day and Rachel Gavilondo. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends in the USA and Korea.
