After a continuing illness George Vernon Phillips passed away on Saturday, August 9th 2008, he is survived by his parents Evelyn and Ken, Helen his wife of 54 years, three sons Mark (Kate), Mike (Janice) and Ken (Alison), 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.Vern was an avid fisherman, golfer and all round really nice guy.Memorial services and reception to be held at Leisure Estates Club House, 201 Union Ave SE, Renton, WA. 98059 Monday, August 18th 2008.In lieu of flowers donations of blood accepted at King County Blood bank, other donations to Renton Fire and Aid, 1055 S Grady Way, Renton, WA 98055.
