Charles Blaine Jeffries, 83, of Renton passed away on June 5, 2016 in Renton. Charles was the last surviving child of James Blaine and Eva Jeffries. Charles was a beloved husband of 39 years to his surviving wife Barbara Jeffries. Charles was born and raised in Marion, Ohio, before moving to Washington State. He served as a Seaman in the United States Coast Guard in the 1950s working primarily in Alaska tending buoys and servicing lighthouses. After serving in the Coast Guard, Charles returned to Seattle and was hired by the Boeing Company where he worked in power tools. He retired from the Boeing Company in 1995 after 40 years of service. Charles was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Renton. Charles leaves behind a son, three step children, and numerous grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Charles will be laid to rest on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Renton at 2pm with visitation from 10am the same day.
