Alvina was born on February 23, 1925 in Dooley, Montana to Carl and Milia Anderson. She moved to Renton in 1947. She was the best waitress in Renton and worked at Tonkins, Rubattinos, Shaw Drug, and the Maverick Steakhouse. Alvina also had her own restaurant at the top of the old city hall. Her house was always decorated for Christmas by the first of November and there wasn’t a room that didn’t have every space covered with holiday items. Besides family, she was blessed with the most amazing girlfriends.
