February 23, 1925-November 20, 2018
Alvina was born on February 23, 1925 in Dooley, Montana to Carl and Milia Anderson. She moved to Renton in 1947. She was the best waitress in Renton and worked at Tonkins, Rubattinos, Shaw Drug, and the Maverick Steakhouse. Alvina also had her own restaurant at the top of the old city hall. She loved the memories of all the people in Renton she waited on. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, and any time with friends and family. She was always dressed up and wearing all of her matching jewelry. Holidays were very important to Alvina. Her house was always decorated for Christmas by the first of November and there wasn’t a room that didn’t have every space covered with holiday items. Besides family, she was blessed with the most amazing girlfriends.
