Viet-Wah Asian Food Market has a new location, and it’s just across the street.

The store moved locations in April but held the grand opening celebration on Aug. 14 that included ribbon cutting, lion dance and free prizes.

According to Leeching Tran, vice president of V.W. Asian Food Company, the new stand-alone building is over 16,000 square feet and is a “better shopping experience.”

With the additional space, Viet-Wah has been able to introduce a deli section to the store.

“We’re glad to be in Renton Sunset area again,” said Tran. “It’s because we’ve gotten a lot of support in the last 10years that we could expand into a bigger location. We’re glad to still be here.”

Viet-Wah is located 2825 N.E. Sunset Blvd.
