Two teenagers stabbed during an altercation

A 16-year-old male and 19-year-old female were transported to the hospital on May 9.

Two teenagers were stabbed during an altercation on May 9 in Skyway.

Around 10 p.m. near Martin Luther King Jr. Way and 73rd Place South, a 16-year-old male and 19-year-old female, both from Tukwila, were involved in a fight with several others when someone in the group used a pepper spray, according to a King County Sheriff’s Office press release.

A 23-year-old female stabbed the two teenagers with a knife. The victims drove away from the scene and went to the Fred Meyer at Renton Center Way where Renton police and medics responded.

According to the release, the male victim was transported to Harborview Hospital and was reported to be in critical condition. The female victim was transported to Valley Medical Center.

The current conditions of the victims are unknown. KCSO have identified all parities involved in the altercation and are continuing the investigation.
