A 24-year-old Tukwila man was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound Saturday afternoon at an Renton apartment complex, according to the Renton Police Department.

A resident called 911 after seeing a man lying at the bottom of a stairwell at about 2:30 p.m. at the apartment complex, 433 Bremerton Ave. N.E., Renton.

Officers found the unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine his cause of death and the manner, such as homicide, and release his name.

The investigation by Renton Police Department detectives is continuing.
