Suspects who attempted to flee from Renton officers arrested

Officers were dispatched to a bank on the 300 block of Southwest Seventh Street to reports of a fraud in progress.

Renton police officers arrested two suspects who were involved in fraud March 14.

Officers were dispatched to a bank at 1:56 p.m. on the 300 block of Southwest Seventh Street to reports of a fraud in progress.

As one of the officers got to the scene, two suspects were seen getting into a car and heading toward Southwest Seventh Street. While turning onto the street, the car collided into another vehicle. Both suspects left the car and fled the scene on foot.

After a short search, officers were able to locate and arrest the suspects.

The car in which the suspects tried to flee in was later found to be a stolen vehicle.

No one was injured during the incident.
