Suspects break into Skyway home, rob 74-year-old woman

King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance to identify suspects.

King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance to identify three men who pistol whipped and robbed a 74-year-old woman after breaking into a Skyway home.

According to a press release, the crime occurred around 1 p.m., Oct. 16 at the 11600 block of 59 Avenue South. Surveillance video shows three men exit a car parked across a street from the house and walk toward the house.

The suspects entered the house by kicking down the back door. The woman who was home when the suspects entered, attempted to run out of the front door. One suspect caught her, pistol whipped her with a handgun and held her mouth closed when she tried to scream.

The two other suspects searched the house. All three suspects fled the scene after taking cash and jewelry.
