Shooting takes a life Friday evening in Auburn

Auburn Police are investigating a shooting that took a person’s life Friday night at Berara at Lakeland Apartments.

Police said they responded to the shooting at 6180 Terrace View Lane SE at about 9:45 p.m, and that several people were involved.

Two people who appeared at a local hospital with minor gunshot wounds were probably involved in the shooting, police said, and officers found a gun and money at the scene.

Police did not release any information about the victim.
