SIFF kicks of May 26 with a screening of "My Blind Brother" at IKEA Performing Arts Center, followed by a opening-night gala at Renton Pavilion Event Center.

'My Blind Brother' kicks off the sixth season of SIFF.

A screwball romantic comedy kicks off on May 26 the sixth season of the Seattle International Film Festival in Renton.

Following the screening of “My Blind Brother” at 7 p.m. at the IKEA Performing Arts Center at Renton High School is the big opening-night gala at the Renton Pavilion Event Center nearby.

SIFF describes “My Blind Brother,” starring Adam Scott, Nick Kroll and Jenny Slate, as “an unconventional screwball romantic comedy about a lovable slacker who falls in love with the girlfriend of his blind, narcissistic brother.”

The SIFF website has a Film Guide on its website, www.siff.net, detailing all the films and where they are screening.

Ticket information and tickets for the films in Renton and other SIFF venues are available online at www.siff.net or by calling 206-324-9996, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Tickets will be available on-site at all venues one hour before the first screening.
