The Renton Civic Theatre is looking for patrons and businesses to be a part of history by having their name in lights. RCT will begin offering donor stars to help rebuild the Renton theatre’s iconic marquee.

The original marquee, with “Renton” steadfast on top facing east and facing west, is in need of metal repair, paint, glass and new neon light.

The acrylic, laser cut and engraved stars will be offered in two levels, $100 clear version and a $250 “gold” version. The stars will be engraved with the donor’s name and placed on the ceiling of the marquee, backlit by LED light, after construction is completed.

Stars will be available beginning in February and will be offered through May.
