REMINDER: RTC to host candidate forum TONIGHT

The theme of the forum is “The education continuum – early learning, K-12 and higher education, and the vital role education plays in creating economic opportunity.”

Renton Technical College is hosting a public forum Oct. 13 featuring candidates for office in the fifth and 41st legislative districts.

The theme of the forum is “The education continuum – early learning, K-12 and higher education, and the vital role education plays in creating economic opportunity.”

Expected to attend are State Senator Mark Mullet, State Representative Chad Magendanz, State Senator Steve Litzow, and candidate Lisa Wellman.

Voters can expect to hear directly from the candidates who want to guide the policies that will impact our local schools, colleges, and the economy.
